"I found Jill’s mindfulness session so relaxing, I actually fell asleep! Her guided meditation allowed me to focus on the present, quiet the chaos of my own thoughts, and provided a brief respite from life’s stresses – something I have been unable to accomplish on my own. Knowing this can be achieved is a great comfort to me and I look forward to continuing the practice."

Deann

"I have attempted meditation several times for many years and was never able to calm myself enough to experience the benefits. Jill’s original meditations and the wonderful group dynamic we share have changed that. I have experienced healing from profound loss and from health issues, as well as developed coping skills to help mitigate life stress. The time we spend in our meditation group provides me with the mental and emotional grounding to make my days better."

Gerry

"I have found peace, discipline, laughter, and community in my meditation group. I’ve become part of a group that has let me into their hearts. Jill is a gifted meditation guide, who during practice has returned me to connect with my mother’s heartbeat, charged into a roiling ocean with childlike glee, lain on a field of grass and wildflowers to smell the earth and feel the sky. I’m so grateful I am a member of this group."

When life shifts unexpectedly, our first instinct, our automatic reaction, is often to clench our fists, to hold on to what feels familiar and known, to control what we can, to protect ourselves from uncertainty.
But what if the very thing we are resisting lies hidden behind the very walls we've built to protect ourselves?
The unknown can feel daunting and intimidating. It challenges our comfort zone, wrestling with anxiety, and invites all those “what if” thoughts bouncing around our minds. Yet underneath that discomfort is an opportunity: a chance to soften, breathe, and watch your world expand in ways you never imagined.
Learning to trust the unknown doesn’t mean pretending everything feels easy or clear. It means finding a gentle strength inside yourself, a quiet confidence that says, “Even though I don’t know what's coming next, I know I can handle it.” The journey into unchartered territories may be filled with trepidation. Yet, it's important to confront these head-on.
When you pause and breathe with intent, into the present moment, something shifts. You begin to see that uncertainty isn’t your enemy. It’s part of the natural rhythm of life and you begin to see things unfold in astonishing and unexpected ways.
Life ebbs and flows with moments of clarity and moments of fog. We need both; both essential in the grand scheme. In times like these, I find comfort in visualizing the ocean tides - the constant advance and retreat of the waves. Here, I find my comfort, cradled by the rhythmic motion of life.
Taking chances doesn’t always mean making big leaps, taking large risks. Sometimes it’s as simple as saying yes to what’s here. Saying yes to another attempt. Yes to a new path. Yes to the possibility that this change might be leading you somewhere fantastic. It’s the courage to say yes to this moment, to renewal, to possibility, to the unfolding of your next beautiful chapter. Where will your yes take you today?
When you learn to go with the flow, you stop fighting relentless tides. You begin to float . . not because you’ve given up, but because you've learned to trust the water to carry and cradle you in its buoyant embrace.
Every ending you’ve faced has paves the way to something new. Every challenge uncovers a strength within you. And even when the path ahead feels foggy, you can still take one mindful, intentional, fearless step at a time.
So this week, I invite you to pause, to soften your expectations, to take a breath and repeat to yourself:
“I don’t need to have it all figured out.”
“I trust how I will deal with what comes.”
Peace doesn’t come from knowing what’s next. It comes from trusting that you’ll know how to meet it when it arrives.
Takeaway Practice
At least once today, when you feel uncertain or anxious:
Close your eyes and take three slow breaths.
With each exhale, silently repeat: “I trust the flow of my life.”
Notice how your body softens.
Your thoughts quiet.
Your heart opens just enough to let peace back in.
