TESTIMONIALS

Jay

"Jill has a talent for getting you out of your head and into your heart. I have enjoyed many of her meditations and always leave feeling more centered and calm. Thank You, Jill!!"

Jer

"Last year working one-on-one with you was an integral part of my healing. I often utilized focused breathing when medical procedures were uncomfortable or unknown. My relaxation aided my surrender to what was occurring. I always reach for breathing whenever I’m stressed or just off-balance. It’s a practical tool and goes everywhere with me - in traffic, when there’s uncertainty or conflict. There’s only now … and just this much - great mantras to live by. So thank you again for your support, your example, and your practice. I’m so blessed."

Elizabeth

"I did my first guided healing meditation with Jill, and I was so pleasantly surprised at how refreshed and restored I felt after. I've been dealing with an illness, and this experience helped me feel better! Highly recommended!"

The Differences Between Meditation In Person And With An App

The Differences Between Meditation In Person And With An App

Over my many years of practicing and teaching meditation, I’ve noticed a dramatic difference between following an app and practicing with others in person. If you’ve been relying on an app, let me share something important: there really is no comparison.

You Can't Get Personalization From a Recording

An app delivers the same script to everyone. When we meet together, I can learn what you specifically want to focus on—whether it’s reducing anxiety, improving sleep, or finding clarity during life changes. Together, we shape your practice in a way that actually fits your goals.

Hearing What Isn’t Said - Between The Lines, So To Speak

Hand gestures, eye contact, facial expressions, tone of voice—these nonverbal cues communicate more than words alone. When I can see and hear you, I understand where you’re struggling or what has meaning for you, and I can adjust in real time. That kind of insight simply isn’t possible with an app.

Stepping Out of Daily Life

When you practice in person, you step out of your everyday environment—away from chores, to-do lists, ringing phones, or household distractions—and into a calm, safe space. This shift matters. It gives you room to relax, share openly, and experience meditation without being pulled back into anything that would normally distract you.

The Power of Human Connection

Person to person meditation, whether it be face to face or online, gives you space to connect—not just with me, but with others who are also on their particular journey. The conversations before and after, the shared energy in the room, the sense of belonging, deepens our practice in ways an app cannot replicate.

Community and Belonging

Meditation in person or online isn’t only about the practice itself; it's about community. Sitting with others creates a shared presence, a sense of “we’re in this together.” We are all vulnerable - and that's okay - it's okay. That feeling of belonging is grounding and healing all on its own.

Apps have their place. They’re accessible, convenient, and there are a lot of them; but, they can’t provide personalization, nonverbal communication, safe space, or the richness of human connection.

If you’ve been using an app and feel like something is missing, I invite you to experience meditation with me. It may surprise you how much deeper, calmer, and more supported you feel when you’re guided in real time, in a space designed for connection and peace.

You can try one of my groups or one of my live meditations. See if you can see, feel, and hear the difference.

You can also sign up for a one-on-one session with me as well.
