TESTIMONIALS

Jay

"Jill has a talent for getting you out of your head and into your heart. I have enjoyed many of her meditations and always leave feeling more centered and calm. Thank You, Jill!!"

Jer

"Last year working one-on-one with you was an integral part of my healing. I often utilized focused breathing when medical procedures were uncomfortable or unknown. My relaxation aided my surrender to what was occurring. I always reach for breathing whenever I’m stressed or just off-balance. It’s a practical tool and goes everywhere with me - in traffic, when there’s uncertainty or conflict. There’s only now … and just this much - great mantras to live by. So thank you again for your support, your example, and your practice. I’m so blessed."

Elizabeth

"I did my first guided healing meditation with Jill, and I was so pleasantly surprised at how refreshed and restored I felt after. I've been dealing with an illness, and this experience helped me feel better! Highly recommended!"

Meditation Support Groups - The Benefits

Meditation Support Groups - The Benefits

Plants

I’ve been told so many times that #meditation can’t or shouldn’t be done in or with a group. That it is such a personal, private time; meditation and others don’t mix.

Nope! Not true!

There is a deep connection with others in relationship to ourselves. Closing your eyes and being guided within amongst others can actually help you go deeper.

#Support groups in a safe environment, bring individuals together who are going through or have gone through similar experiences. Support groups provide an opportunity for individuals to share personal experiences, feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about diseases or treatments or stressful situations. These meetings provide a sense of intimacy, #connection and #empathy.

Other benefits are:

Feeling less lonely, #isolated, #judged. Research has shown that having a strong support system has many positive benefits, such as better #well-being, better coping skills, and a #healthier life.

Reducing #stress, #depression, #anxiety. Studies have also shown that social support can reduce depression and anxiety. A strong support system can often help reduce stress.

Talking openly and honestly about your feelings. Talking/listening with like-minded people makes a huge impact on you and others.

Improving skills to cope with challenges. You can ask others for help. You can find it easier taking responsibility for your situation and engaging in problem solving together. Helping others and listening, you can gain a sense of empowerment and control.

Guided meditation with groups creates an experience that encourages new insight, healing, and healthy self-examination. Meditation adds a deeply personal and meaningful experience to each person.

Because life takes us in so many directions, so often we don’t make time for ourselves. By finding a meditation group we give ourselves an excuse or reason to develop a consistent practice.

Unlock the Collective Power of Serenity: Debunking the Solo Meditation Myth!

Busting the Myth: You may have heard that meditation is a solitary engagement not to be shared. Well, it's time to break that theory wide open! I am living proof. I actually was one of "those people" who thought that until I was proven very wrong. While going through my cancer treatments, I joined an online meditation group. After the meditation, the facilitator told us to open our eyes. To my amazement, there were others in the meeting. I had gone so deep into the meditation, that I was unaware of the others. The others were a support for me even though I was not consciously aware of them. Meditation is not always a solo journey; it can be shared with others. Imagine the power of a collective tranquility.

Dive Deeper Together: Closing your eyes and drifting into serenity, surrounded by like-minded people, going through similar situations as you. It's in this shared silence that you can go to depths of inner peace.

Circle of Support: In the safe space of support groups, bonds are formed through shared struggles and successes. Here, we share our stories, soothe, and strengthen, bringing to life a different solutions, different problems with empathy, connection, and understanding.

The Ripple Effect of Benefits: It is natural to feel alone . . to feel lonely and judge ourselves. In this group environment, you can feel judgment drift away, replaced by the exciting flow of community and care. Research confirms the effects of belonging – from enhanced well-being to fear and courage against life's anxiety forces.

Speak, Listen, Rebuild: Among the like-minded, when you speak, when you share, you become a catalyst for change – both for you and the others in the group.

Face Challenges Together: Ask for advice, share solutions. You are with empathetic, understanding individuals who have or are navigating similar twists and turns, discovering empowerment and trying to do the best they can along their journey.

A Shared Safe Space: Group-guided meditation is not just an activity; it's a place for insight, healing, and self-analysis. Each meditation becomes a personal journey, unique and meaningful. Sometimes incredibly painful, enlightening, joyful, or all of the above.

Carve Out Time for You: It's time. You have neglected yourself long enough. By stepping into a meditation group, you carve a space in time, a daily practice of self-discovery and consistency.

Join the collective embrace of meditation and transform "me-time" into "we-time," where the power of many strengthens the spirit of one. Join a group meditation journey – a shared path to inner peace and empowerment. Meditation To Live Well groups
